And now, in ENGLISH!

Why are there sometimes really strange grammatical errors?

Hopefully this doesn't happen so much in English, because Kris an American, who emigrated to the Netherlands in 1996. However, in both Dutch and English, we do make mistakes ... if you see something wrong, please don't hesitate to let us know!

In the past, I've done special orders for yarns that weren't even in the normal collection.  Is that still possible?

Yes, of course! Just send an email or click on the contact link above right, and we'll see what we can do for you!

Why are the prices so much higher that at Michael's in the US?

Shipping costs for yarn are quite expensive from the US, and the heavier the ball of yarn the more we are charged for shipping ... so smaller, luxury balls will probably cost closer to what you pay in the US, whereas larger, economy balls, will cost a lot more.  Also, trade tariffs are charged, and of course, there's the VAT of 21%. (Prices for yarn in the US are always listed WITHOUT sales tax, and in some states (like Pennsylvania), yarn used for garments is exempt from sales tax (but yarn for blankets should have sales tax.)  We do our best to keep our prices competitive, but there may be situations where I cannot compete with another shop's prices.  Also, remember we are just a small webshop, and all of the business expenses need to be covered just to pay our normal overhead ... of course, more yarn sold means that the cost of overhead can be spread out over more balls of yarn, and perhaps the price can go down!  So, tell all of your woolly friends about Woolly.nl!

When we get more questions, we will update this section!
